Santa Cruz in the Summer

I realize that it is basically the end of summer, but I just wanted to post these last few pictures of one of my favorite summer things. Santa Cruz farmer's market. This market is probably the best one I've ever been to. It's huge, filled with yummy things, and really friendly people. Here's a little taste of the experience.

  2. I love farmer's markets. We are looking for a good one now that we moved. Wish we could have hung out with you guys at Mount Herman!

  3. Hi Meredith, the chard is beautiful, isn't it? I have this recipe: salmon steaks wrapped in chard leaves with lemon zest and grated ginger, steamed; a friend in Montana made it for us this summer. Our farmers market isn't so great in San Antonio but Josiah tells us about a thriving market in Memphis. blessings

  4. Yum! I love chard. It's definitely my favorite vegetable that we grew this year. Would you send me the recipe?
